Mobile application vendor uLocate on Tuesday introduced a new friend finder application for the iPhone called Buddy Beacon.
Using Buddy Beacon, iPhone users can share their location with friends and they can see the locations of their friends on the iPhone’s map application. Users can also connect with friends directly through the application and update their status across a variety of online social networking sites, including Facebook.
Buddy Beacon allows users to invite new friends, nudge friends to update their status and location, directly from within the application.
Buddy Beacon is available by navigating to the company’s Web site on the iPhone.
