Popular spam catching application, SpamSieve, has been updated with various improvements and bug fixes.
Accuracy improvements with obfuscations, image attachments, URLs and HTML have been improved in the latest release. Improvements to the column widths and alignments in the rules and corpus windows have also been made.
The developer also fixed what he said was a “rare problem” where training a message as spam in Apple Mail on Mac OS X 10.5 might hang if Mail was downloading messages. Corpus speed and memory usage has been improved, as well.
SpamSieve 2.7 is available from the C-Command Web site and is a free download for registered users. For new users the applications costs $30.
