Rogue Amoeba released an update for Airfoil, bring the current version of the application to 3.2. In addition to some minor bug fixes the update also improves support for 802.11n AirPort Express units including better synchronization and full password support.
The update also adds support for remote control of iTunes and QuickTime (when selected as sources) via Apple TV Remote and Keyspan Express Remote. Airfoil now fully supports VIDEO_TS files for virtual DVDs, the company said.
Airfoil allows users to send any any audio to AirPort Express units, Apple TVs and other Macs or PCs.
Airfoil costs $25. The update is available from the company’s Web site.
