Imation on Monday announced that it has acquired all of the assets of XtremeMac Accessories for $9 million. Imation will pay $7 million in cash plus $2 million in assumed net liabilities.
XtremeMac is the Florida-based company that bills itself as “The iPod Xperts.” The company develops and manufactures products for the iPod touch, iPod nano, iPod classic, iPhone and Apple TV, including the Luna X2 iPod alarm clock, InCharge Auto iPod vehicle adapter, Sportwrap armband case and more.
Gary Bart, founder and president of XtremeMac, will continue as Executive Director at Imation.
