You love your Mac’s audio capabilities-so much, in fact, that you’ve jammed every audio port on your Mac with plugs. Impressive as all these available input and output sources may be, isn’t it kind of a bother to constantly hop to the Sound preference pane to switch from one to another?

This can now be filed under “unnecessary,” thanks to Rogue Amoeba’s free SoundSource 2.0. This simple utility adds a menu-bar item that lists all available Input, Output, and System audio options. To make a change, just select the setting you want from the menu
