Ambrosia Software on Wednesday announced the release of iToner 1.0.8, an update to its iPhone ringtone maker for Mac OS X. It costs $15, and this is a free update for registered users.
iToner enables users to create ringtones for the iPhone using their own audio files, without having to pay the per-ringtone fee that Apple commands through the iTunes Store. iToner works with MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF audio files.
iToner 1.0.8 has been updated to support iTunes 7.7 and iPhone OS 2.0. It also now features Japanese localization.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later.
