Apple will open its latest retail store in the U.K. in the redeveloped Liverpool One complex this coming weekend.
The new Apple retail store will open on Saturday, July 26, at 9 a.m. It’s Apple’s 16th retail outlet in the U.K., and will offer store visitors a good chance to take a look at the latest Macs, iPods and the iPhone, alongside a wide selection of third party products.
Marking the launch, Apple will give the first 1,000 people through the door for the store opening a free Apple T-shirt. The company is also running a Grand Opening prize draw, where one lucky customer will win a black MacBook and a silver iPod nano.
In Monday’s third-quarter earnings announcement, Apple reported that it’s on track to have 242 Apple Stores open by year’s end; it had 216 at the end of the June quarter.
