Apple released AirPort Extreme Update 2008-02 on Thursday for OS X 10.4 Tiger users with Intel-based Macs (the update requires 10.4.11). The information provided with the update was scant to say the least. Apple only says that the update “improves the reliability of AirPort connections.”
Apple’s AirPort Extreme allows users to create a high-speed Wi-Fi network. The device comes with a router and four Gigabit Ethernet ports, as well as configuration software for easy setup.
The update for AirPort Extreme can be downloaded from Apple’s Web site.
[Updated at 9:42PM pacific time to clarify the update is for Tiger only.]
