Music hardware and software maker, Native Instruments, released an update for its guitar amp modeling software on Thursday. Guitar Rig 3.1.1 “brings various improvements” to Guitar Rig, its XE and Session versions, according to the company.
Guitar Rig 3 XE and Session users also get an additional amp model with the update. Both applications get the Bass Pro amp, bringing the total amount of amps in those apps to six.
All updated versions of Guitar Rig also feature optimized performance with reduced CPU consumption and Pro Tools compatibility under Mac OS X Leopard.
