Ambrosia Software has announced the release of Dragster 1.0.6, an update to its file transfer utility for Mac OS X. A free update for registered users, Dragster 1.0.6 costs $19.
Dragster is designed to complement conventional FTP software applications on the Mac by providing streamlined connectivity using a Dock icon. You can set up customizable shortcuts to access file servers you frequently need.
New to the 1.0.6 update is the ability to choose how long Dragster leaves connections open after a transfer. Also new are improvements to the transfer status display, including better reporting of transfer rates. Dragster 1.0.6 has a crash fix and other bug fixes and enhancements, as well.
Dragster requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
