Corallo Software has announced the release of VirtualKeyboard 3.5, a new version of the on-screen keyboard utility for Mac OS X. It costs $19.95; it’s a free update for registered 3.x users.
VirtualKeyboard lets you click on the keys of an on-screen keyboard instead of using a regular keyboard. Each virtual key press is sent to the active application just as it would with a real keyboard. It handles command-key combination, dead-keys and modifier key-click combinations.
New to the 3.5 release is support for languages with non-Roman alphabets, including Cyrillic and Eastern European languages; automatic layout switching; compatibility with Leopard spaces; a new Zoom button; new options, GUI improvements and bug fixes, and more.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
