The launch of Adobe Creative Suite 4 on Tuesday brings lots of new features for creative professionals, but it also means a learning curve for users. That can be daunting unless you have some help, which is where a new video tutorial Web site called designProVideo.com comes in.
DesignProVideo.com is actually brought to you by the same company that owns well-known Mac video tutorial company MacProVideo.com. The difference is that the new site is dedicated to tutorials on Adobe CS4.
According to the company, the tutorials will focus on teaching beginner to advanced graphic design concepts.
Company founder Martin Sitter said he sought out some of the top people in the industry to make the videos. Educators include multi-book technical authors like “Flash Bible” creators Robert Reinhardt & Snow Dowd, and industry pros like Mark Stope, whose illustrations were used to create sets and props for “Mission to Mars,” “X-Men 2,” and “I Robot.”
Sitter himself wrote Apple’s official courseware for Logic, DVD Studio Pro, and Soundtrack Pro.
DesignProVideo.com will launch September 23, 2008.
