Human Software has released Edit 1.5 for Aperture, an update to its plug-in suite for Apple’s pro photo software. It costs $299.95 for the full suite, or you can purchase the plug-ins individually.
HSC Edit comprises 15 different plug-ins for Aperture 2.1 or later. These plug-ins enable you to perform myriad image editing and effects tasks that you would otherwise need to use an outside editor in order to accomplish. Plug-ins include capabilities like denoise, fractals, frames, lights, multitones, multicurve support and more. The entire collection includes more than 4,000 effects, according to the developer.
New to the 1.5 set is a photo resizing plug-in that lets you crop upsize or downsize a part of an image or a whole image. You can save and recall your settings on any image. The plug-in uses multiple algorithms to produce optimal quality whether you’re downsizing or upsizing, as well.
