App4mac has released Sequence 1.1, an update for their screen capture utility for Mac OS X. A free update for registered users, Sequence costs $29.
Sequence lets you capture individual screenshots as well as video of your Mac. The software leverages multiprocessor and multicore systems and 64-bit support for compression. It can capture DVD, audio and any other multimedia application, and can simultaneously record from your web cam and your screen. It also features a voice recording function so you can describe what you’re doing.
Sequence is intended for users developing training videos, product demos, tutorials, archiving streaming video and more. It supports screenshots in BMP, PICt, GIF, JPG, PNG and TIFF image formats, and supports Core Animation, QuickLook, QTKit, Core Image and iChat Theater technologies.
New in the 1.1 release is the ability to record sound from your Mac. Performance has been improved and the user interface has been updated. Documentation has also been integrated within the app.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
