MacPractice has announced the forthcoming release of MacPractice 3.5, the latest major revision to its medical practice management software for Mac OS X. The software is due for release this week, and will e sent to all users who have 3.1, the current shipping version.
Using MacPractice, doctors, eye doctors, dentists and chiropractors can manage their practices. The software features patient and insurance billing and reporting, eligibility verification, e-statements, scheduling, prescription tracking, insurance estimation and other features. It also integrates with radiology software and more.
New in the 3.5 version is a new kiosk mode with signature pad, enhanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR) narratives and note integration and charge posting, ePrescribe medications list, integration with AutoRemind, direct integration with SuniRay digital x-ray sensor, and enhanced MacPractice DR (for digital radiography) and Imaging (medical).
Beginning this week, new customers will receive MacPractice 3.5, and soon thereafter existing users will be upgraded.
