September—school starts, white shoes are stashed in closets until Memorial Day, football season begins, and, most importantly, new digital cameras hit the market. New cameras are coming into our lab on a regular basis, and we’re working on the reviews.
In the meantime, let’s take a first look at two new Canon point-and-shoot cameras, the PowerShot SD980 IS and the PowerShot SD940 IS. The SD980 is the first point-and-shoot from Canon that features a touchscreen, and both cameras now include a mini-HDMI port, the ability to shoot 720p video, and image stabilization.
We’re testing these cameras now and will have full reviews (with Mac-relevant information) on the site soon.
