Nova media on Friday announced the release of iSync plug-ins 7.1, an update to their add-on for Apple’s iSync software. iSync plug-ins costs $9.95. Updates are free for users who have purchased iSync plug-ins in the past 12 months.
iSync plug-ins enables Apple’s built-in data synchronization software to swap data with cell phones that Apple doesn’t support directly. Support is offered for more than 200 phones from various manufacturers.
The new 7.1 release adds support for six new Sony Ericsson models: the T700, TM506, W595, W595c, W595s and W902. Support is also provided for Samsung’s i8510 and INNOV8.
Other changes include the addition of a preference pane to manage installation and update of cell phone plug-ins. For experienced iSync plug-ins users, this eliminates the need to download a complete set of plug-ins each time they’re updated.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.4.9 and a supported Bluetooth-equipped cell phone.
