SmileOnMyMac has announced the release of Disclabel 5.3, an update to its CD and DVD label design software for Mac OS X. A free update for Disclabel 5 users, the software costs $35.95.
Disclabel is used to create labels and packaging designs for CDs and DVDs. It features pre-designed templates (though you can create your own designs), and lets you import track lists from iTunes, iDVD, Toast and the Finder, along with information and images from iPhoto (and now Aperture). It supports layers, features drawing tools, and uses more than 1300 clip art files.
Disclabel 5.3 adds support for Aperture, Apple’s pro photography cataloging and editing software. Multiple iPhone libraries can now be used when importing, as well. Blu-ray Disc packaging design elements have been added, and various bug fixes have been made.
Disclabel requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
