Juicy Development has announced the release of Talk Radio 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The app is available for download from the App Store or $1.99.
Talk Radio helps talk radio enthusiasts locate when and on what local radio frequency they can find their favorite syndicated talk radio programs. The software utilizes the device’s location finding to search radio stations and air times in that area.
You can search for popular talk radio programs including Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura, Sean Hannity, Alan Colmes an Glenn Beck. Juicy Development is adding additional hosts and encourages users to submit requests for additional radio programs. The software also learns from users who report coverage, corrections or changes and transmits that information to everyone with the application automatically.
The software is useful for people in the United States, for now, but Juicy Development said that as the database expands, they expect international entries will grow rapidly.
System requirements call for an iPhone or iPod touch with iPhone 2.0 software or later.
