Unifiq has announced the first public preview of Aspire, a new brainstorming utility developed for Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard.” the company has released the software at a pre-release price of $19 — it will be $39 when the final release is made.
Aspire is designed to help users develop and refine long-term plans. It helps you identify obstacles, brainstorm solutions, and define goals. Aspire is designed to complement, rather than replace, whatever time management system you use for daily tasks, supplementing such software with tools to help you identify and reach long-term goals that you might have trouble identifying on or focusing on using your current set of tools.
To that end, Unifiq calls Aspire “methodology free.” Aspire doesn’t focus on importance or timeframe, trying to draw your focus away from detail so you can try to stay focused on “the big picture.” You can attach notes to any item in Aspire, to help get your ideas and inspirations out and saved, there when you need them.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.5 or later and 3.4MB hard disk space.
