Hammer offers ‘morespace’ USB hard drives

Hammer Storage on Tuesday introduced the morespace Portable hard disk drive. Equipped with USB 2.0, the drive is available in capacities from 160GB to 500GB priced from $59.99 to $139.99.

The morespace Portable is designed as a hand-held hard disk drive that easily fits into a bag or knapsack. The drive also features customizability — you can put on your own “ skin” to set your morespace Portable apart from other disk drives.

Inside the chassis is a 2.5-inch hard disk drive mechanism that’s compatible with Mac OS X and Windows. It comes with a 20-inch USB cable and supports USB power, so no external AC adapter is necessary.
