OnyX, a maintenance utility for Mac OS X Leopard, has been updated improving several functions of the application.
According to the developer, OnyX 2.0 is now compiled using Apple’s newest Xcode; deleting the applications Cache has been improved; deleting the Internet Cache is improved; and deleting the logs has been improved. Several other changes, including rebuilding the Mail’s Envelope Index in the Automation panel, were also made with version 2.0.
OnyX is a free application that can be downloaded from the developer’s Web site. Versions of the utility are also available for Tiger, Panther, and Jaguar.
