Apple on Thursday released an update for its remote administration tools.
Server Admin Tools 10.5.6 allows users to administer Mac OS X Server from a remote location. The update includes updated tools, documentation, and utilities.
Two changes were made with the System Image Utility. First, when deploying a system image created from a volume, the target computers will no longer have identical local KDC files. Secondly, model filters have been added for the latest MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air computers in NetBoot/NetInstall.
The updated Server Admin fixes an issue that could cause Server Admin to stop responding when propagating permissions on a folder which is on a volume other than the boot volume.
Server Admin Tools 10.5.6 can be download via the software update mechanism in Mac OS X or directly from Apple’s Web site.
