Apple on Tuesday released an update for the newest release of its consumer-level music creation application, GarageBand ’09.
With an official version number of GarageBand 5.0.1, the update improves overall stability, according to notes included with the update. The new version also addresses specific issues with downloading lessons from the Learn to Play Lesson Store.
GarageBand ’09 was released as part of the new iLife ’09 suite of applications at Macworld Expo in January. Among the changes to GarageBand are remodeled guitar amps, making this a great release for guitarists.
GarageBand 5.0.1 is free and available from Apple’s Web site.
