MacSpeech updated its speech recognition application, Dictate, on Tuesday, bringing the latest version to 1.3.
With the new version, MacSpeech Dictate users can now use the application to navigate and edit documents from any application, including those that were not created with MacSpeech. To help facilitate this, Dictate 1.3 includes a new Cache Document command that allows the application to read a document’s contents.
Dictate 1.3 adds two new microphone status indicators and commands for “Cache Selection,” “Press The Key,” “Press The Key Combo” and “Cancel Training.” Other bug fixes and interface enhancements are also part of this update.
MacSpeech Dictate 1.3 is a free update for registered users. For new users it costs $199.
