Adobe released an update for its digital photography workflow application, Lightroom, and a new version of Camera Raw.
There were a couple of items fixed in Lightroom 2.3, including a problem that caused slideshows could return to the first image randomly during playback. Another issue where a memory leak could cause Lightroom to crash while attempting to process files with local adjustments, has also been fixed.
Adobe said they also corrected a problem where the Canon EOS 5D Mk II sRAW files could process with artifacts in Lightroom 2.2.
Camera Raw 5.3 adds support for two new cameras: the Nikon D3X and the Olympus E-30.
Lightroom 2.3 is available as a free download for existing Lightroom 2 customers and the Camera Raw 5.3 plug-in is available as a free download for existing customers of Photoshop CS4, Photoshop Elements 7, Premiere Elements 7 and Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac.
