Super Bowl ad viewers flocked to Hulu in February, driving the Web site traffic up 55 percent to 7.8 million unique visitors. The increased traffic propelled Hulu to the number two spot in the most visited Web site list.
Mozilla Led all Web sites with a 61 percent increase in traffic bring it to 22.8 million monthly visitors.
February holds a couple of special days for us all — Valentine’s Day and tax season, and it showed in Web site traffic. Flowers, Gifts and Greetings sites jumped 15 percent overall to 35.6 million visitors, with some sites like ProFlowers.com jumping an incredible 427 percent to 4.7 million visitors.
Tax season isn’t as special, but it still drew its share of visitors. Overall, the category grew 22 percent to more than 30 million visitors. Intuit grew 36 percent, followed by TaxACT with 32 percent and H&R Block with 20 percent.
Google continues to lead all Web site visits with nearly 149 million visitors, followed by Yahoo with 144.3 million visitors and Microsoft with 121.1 million visitors.
