Mac OS X image editor, Pixelmator, was updated on Tuesday, fixing several bugs and adding one notable feature: noise filtering.
The noise filter allows users to create textures and special effects to images, according to the company. The update also offers some minor bug fixes, as well as interface and performance improvements.
The Pixelmator Team also launched a new learning Web site, designed to help users get the most out of Pixelmator. The learning center includes step-by-step text tutorials, video tutorials and third-party tutorials.
Pixelmator 1.4.1 is available as a free update from the company’s Web site. For new users the app costs $59.
