Soonr on Wednesday announced the release of Soonr 3.0, a new version of its online workspace software for Mac OS X, Windows, iPhone and netbooks. Soonr is available as a subscription-based service ranging from free to $20 per month, depending on how much space and how many users you want.
Billed as “a mobile cloud service,” Soonr provides users with remote access to files, secure backup and team-based collaboration features. You can search, print, fax, share, comment, view videos and more, from any device that connects to Soonr. A free iPhone application is available for download from the App Store.
New to the 3.0 release is a new workspace area called Projects, which lets users organize and share files with other users and clients. Team members can share documents, get status updates, request feedback, share printers and more. E-mail attachments can also be sent directly to the Projects workspace.
Other features include new tools, such as an administrative interface that helps you manage team activities and resources; support for faxing from a mobile device, through a linked eFax account; universal search capabilities with full text search across all computers and project folders; and video playback with support for most major video formats.
