Apple is taking support for its MobileMe online service to the next level. The company announced on Monday a new chat service for MobileMe members.
The MobileMe live chat support will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for English speaking customers. The real-time support is for “customers that encounter an issue while using MobileMe and would like to address it immediately,” according to Apple’s Web page.
MobileMe is Apple’s collection of iPhone-friendly online services that replaced .Mac. The service allows users to sync Address Book and iCal content from their Macs to the online cloud and to an iPhone.
Using a Web browser, you have access to email, the address book, calenders, photos, iDisk and your account information. Many of Apple’s applications also use MobileMe. For instance, you can upload files directly from Logic, the company’s pro audio application, and iPhoto allows you to post pictures to your account.
The MobileMe live support chat is available immediately by visiting the company’s Support Web site and clicking on the “Chat Now” button.
