Karelia Software on Tuesday announced the release of Sandvox 1.6.2, an update to its Web design software for Mac OS X. The new release is a free update for registered users. Sandvox costs $47 for the regular version or $97 for the professional version.
Sandvox is a visual Web page editor that enables you to create Web sites without having to know HTML or other text markup and coding techniques. It includes a number of templates and support for text, images, movies, “pagelets” containing HTML, JavaScript and PHP, optimizations for Google search and more.
The 1.6.2 update has been created for users who are experience problems with page editing — issues have been corrected associated with changed text not being saved or with content being lost when moving an existing page. A problem has also been fixed that would cause content to be republished.
Sandvox requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later.
