A complete overhaul and pricing change of the entire notebook lineup, a final preview of Snow Leopard and announcement of its ridiculously low upgrade price, a look at the upcoming firmware v3.0 for existing iPhones and iPod touches, and the announcement of the impending release dates for the next generation of the iPhone, the iPhone 3G S—Apple announced all of the above in a span of two hours this past Monday.
If you weren’t one of the spectators seated in the Moscone West conference hall in San Francisco during the WWDC 2009 keynote and if you’re anything like me, you must have been checking iTunes restlessly for the past couple of days, waiting for Apple to publish the keynote in its entirety on its Apple Keynotes podcast.
Well, your wait is over, my friend, and you can now go ahead and download the 1.32 GB behemoth from the iTunes Store [iTunes link]. Of course, Apple has already published streaming versions of the keynote on its website, both in standard as well as high definition, but if you want to save the entire event in your iTunes library and show it to every unsuspecting member in your family, this podcast version should be right up your alley.
There currently seems to be a glitch in the iTunes Store which is causing the WWDC 2009 episode to not appear in the Apple Keynotes podcast page on iTunes. If you happen to run into this issue, simply hit the Subscribe button to subscribe to the podcast and then hit the Refresh button in the Podcasts section of your iTunes library. If all goes well, iTunes should start downloading the WWDC keynote episode automatically.
Also, if this isn’t enough to quench for thirst for iPhone 3G S videos, go check out the brand new advertisement and guided tour videos that Apple has made available on their website in varying qualities and sizes. And, of course, stay tuned for complete coverage of all things iPhone as we approach the launch of Apple’s latest offering next week.
