Apple updates Xcode with ‘minor enhancements’
You’ll need a Mac running Mac OS X 10.5. Xcode 3.1.3 can be downloaded from Apple’s Mac Dev Center, but you’ll need a registered developer account in order to get it.—PC
AutoCorrectXT adds QuarkXPress 8 compatibility
Now compatible with QuarkXPress 8, the plugin automatically flags misspelled words as users enter text. AutoCorrectXT also allows users to define which mistakes should be auto-corrected. Users can easily enter names, locations, and other commonly used terms into the AutoCorrect database with the help of a custom shortcut. The plugin’s AutoSpell function features nine different language dictionaries including French, German, and Spanish.

Connection issue fixed in Adium update
Adium 1.3.5, the latest version of the open-source instant-messaging client, was released on Monday. The update fixes connection issues with popular chat services Facebook, Yahoo, and MSN. Version 1.3.5 is a free update and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.—DM
