Snapshot printers make for an attractive holiday present. Both Epson’s PictureMate Charm PM 225 and HP’s Photosmart A646 cost roughly the same, but which would better suit your needs?
One printer has high quality photos but few options; the other printer’s quality is not as quite good but it lets you print more sizes of photos and has other interesting features.
In this video, I’ll explain the differences between the Epson and HP printers. You can also watch a larger version of the video on Macworld’s YouTube channel.
Here are links to the full reviews of the printers in the video, as well as a few other snapshot printers we’ve reviewed recently. Clicking on the “Compare latest prices” link will help you compare prices from online retailers.
Epson recently released the PictureMate Show PM 300, which we haven’t had a chance to review, but we’re working on it.
