Electronics vendor Edifier has announced the US and Canada release of the company’s iF500 iPod-dock speaker system.
Sporting five drivers—a single bass driver and left and right tweeters and midrange drivers—and 52 Watts of total power, the $249 iF500 includes an iPod dock compatible with iPods and iPhones, an FM radio, an an auxiliary audio input. The company says the iF500 also includes patented Electrical Intelligent Distortion Control (EIDC) to reduce distortion, as well as a universal (international) power supply.
The company’s Web site had not been updated with product information at the time of publication.
