OSXpert has released FoneConnector for Daylite 1.0. It’s designed to work with Marketcircle’s Daylite for Mac OS X, and it provides a telephony system for Daylite users. It costs $79 ($49 as an introductory price).
FoneConnector is software that bridges the gap between hardware telephony systems for the Mac and Daylite, Marketcircle’s popular business productivity management software. It was developed to provide inbound Customer Relationship Management (CRM)-style telephony capabilities for Mac-based businesses that use Daylite.
FoneConnector uses scripts and plug-ins to interact with SkypeIn, PhoneValet from Parliant, Dialectic by JNSoftware, Direct by Ilink, Starface by Vertico, and Dial!Fritz by Matthias Hühne. FoneConnector identifies the incoming call and looks up the contact information in Daylite, then triggers a “Call Window” which the user can see call duration, use to take notes during the call, make appointments, set up tasks, projects and attach Daylite forms.
An AppleScript plug-in is also included to help FoneConnector for Daylite connect to other third-party telephone systems.
System requirements call for Daylite 3.9.3 or later, Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later, an Intel-based Mac and a supported third-party telephony system.
