More Snow Leopard-ready software releases
SkypeCap wasn’t the only Mac application adding Snow Leopard support on Wednesday. Other announced updates included:
• iScrapbook and SOHO Labels: In addition to delivering full compatibility with OS X 10.6, both updates from Chronos introduced other changes. In the case of the
iScrapbook scrapbooking program, Version 2.1 adds new options for editing and controlling bezier shapes and improvements to table scrolling; the application’s Smart Inspector window also dynamically repositions itself when you move the main window. SOHO Labels 4.1 adds those same features; also, the label design and printing program now checks zip codes for validity before drawing PostNet barcodes.
• Kona video capture cards:
AJA Video Systems says its line of 10-bit uncompressed capture and playback cards for audio and video input now support Snow Leopard, thanks to a software update. The 7.0 update adds Snow Leopard support to the Kona LSe, LHe, LHi, and Kona 3 offerings. The software update also adds a new AJA 64-bit Kona driver and new graphical icons across all AJA utilities and applications.—Philip Michaels

Audio 2 DJ ships
Native Instruments says Audio 2 DJ, a small USB audio interface for DJs, is now available in stores around the world. The audio interface is designed to deliver the same audio quality and performance as the company’s Audio 8 DJ and Audio 4 DJ interfaces that are used by professional club DJs.
Audio 2 DJ features studio-grade converters and special high-power output amplifiers to accommodate demanding club systems. The dual stereo outputs of the interface provide connectivity to route two decks separately into an external DJ mixer or to output independent master and cue signals when mixing in software.
