Primera Technology, a leading developer and manufacturer of CD/DVD/BD duplication and printing equipment, has announced PTPublisher for Mac. The software is billed as a new, easy-to-use yet fully-featured burning and printing software program written specifically for use with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
The software is powered by the Roxio burn engine software and works with any of Primera’s DP- and XR-Series Disc Publishers.
Primera’s DVD/BD/CD duplication and printing equipment automates the entire burning and printing process. A sixth-generation robotic mechanism is used to transport discs into the built-in DVD, CD or Blu-ray recorders
After recording, each CD or DVD is individually ink-jet printed direct-to-disc in full-color at up to 4800 dpi resolution. Many models with different capacities and numbers of burners are available, according to the company.
“Mac users represent a large and growing segment of our customer base,” said Mark D. Strobel, Primera’s vice president of sales and marketing. “PTPublisher for Mac sets a new industry standard for ease of use and reliability. We’re excited to be able to offer it at no charge to our valued Mac user
