The ioSafe Solo (
) is a unique drive. It’s built with a heavy-duty case that can take a beating from fire or water and your data will be safe. (In our review, we tortured the Solo with a flame cannon and submerged it in water, and the drive mechanism survived.)If your needs demand fast data access speeds, then you’ll be interested to know ioSafe now offers a new solid-state drive-based Solo. The ioSafe Solo SSD uses an ArmorPlate case that’s very similar to the ioSafe Solo. The drive has two connection options: USB 2.0 and eSATA.
ioSafe includes its Data Recovery Service that is activated with product registration. The Data Recovery Service can be extended for up to five years.
