Last week, we mentioned Second Gear Software’s Justin Williams’s forthcoming initiative to unite Mac developers and donate sales proceeds for an entire day to relief efforts in Haiti. What started as a small collection of a little over 20 developers has now turned into a grand event, with 135 Mac and iPhone developers joining the cause.
To contribute, all you have to do is visit the Indie+Relief website on Wednesday, January 20, and purchase any of the many fine applications listed there. The proceeds from all the sales that take place on Wednesday will go to a number of charities working to bring aid to the people of Haiti, from Doctors Without Borders to Oxfam, the Red Cross, and more. And you, of course, end up with some great applications for your own use.
