Power Support 3D Wheel Film

We’ve seen a number of protective films designed to protect the Click Wheel on newer iPods from scratches and grubby, grimy hands. However, one thing they all have in common is that they only protect the Click Wheel itself — shaped like donuts, they all leave the center Enter button exposed. Power Support’s new 3D Wheel Film, on the other hand, protects the Enter button via a raised “bubble” in the film. We found the 3D Wheel Film to fit the Click Wheel on 4G and photo iPods perfectly — a smaller version is available for iPod minis — and to offer very good protection without affecting the way the Click Wheel or the Enter button functioned. Best of all, the 3D Wheel Film is easily removable. We plan on purchasing a few for our own iPods, along with Power Support’s Crystal Film screen protectors (also reviewed here).–Dan Frakes
