From the Playlist book:
FM radio? Wired remote? Radio and voice recorder? Griffin’s modestly named iFM is all of the above in a tiny package not much bigger than Apple’s own iPod remote. The FM tuner’s backlit LCD display is easy to use, and six presets add to its convenience. The wired remote provides play/pause, volume, track skip/scan, and power controls. Finally, the iFM takes advantage of the voice-recording feature of full-size iPods to let you record — in low-res, mono quality — either the radio or audio picked up by the iFM’s built-in microphone. (That said, if you plan on doing a lot of voice recording, you’ll want Griffin’s iTalk instead.) The entire iFM is only 2.1 by 1.3 by .4 inches; your headphones can plug into the iFM’s own headphone jack. (The remote and FM radio features of the iFM also work with iPod minis; however, the recording function does not.)
