Our Verdict
This aluminum housing completely covers and iPod–screen, click wheel, and all–inside a snap-together metal case. Gaping holes at the top and bottom allow access to your iPod’s dock connection, hold switch, and headphones and remote port. However, it might as well be sealed shut completely, since you have to open it to access any of the controls or see the screen. That’s right, you can’t see the screen while the case is closed. Another problem we found with this case is that when it’s opened too wide–which is easy to do–it doesn’t shut properly again. There’s also no way to attach a belt clip. Save your money.–Mathew Honan
