Griffin Technology’s Vizor is a flipcase for 5G iPods available in several colors and made of either leather or imitation leather, depending on the color. Available in 30GB and 60/80GB varieties, the back of the case features a non-removable belt clip. The bottom has a hole for the dock-connector port while the top has an opening for your headphone plug. As with most flipcases, accessing the hold switch, screen, and Click Wheel requires you to open the flipcover protecting the front.
The Vizor’s flipcover features two magnets to secure it when closed. This is a convenient mechanism that’s both solid and easy to manipulate. Like the back, the flipcover is also reinforced with a rigid insert. Soft cloth lines the inside of the case to prevent the case itself from scratching your iPod, and a flexible-plastic, transparent shield protects the screen while the flipcover is open
The Vizor is a standard leather flip-style case, but executed very well at a reasonable price. –Derik DeLong
