Tatuz iTatu

Tatuz’s iTatu for the iPod shuffle (first generation), isn’t really a case; rather, it’s more of a sticker. Each iTatu — available in many different patterns, including flags, solid colors, stripes, and designer styles — consists of three adhesive strips. One gets applied to the front of your iPod shuffle, while each of the other two fits either the shuffle’s regular USB cap or the lanyard cap.

The iTatu is an interesting way to apply some color to your iPod shuffle, but other than preventing some scratching on the front, offers little protection. The back of your shuffle is completely exposed, as are the edges. However, iTatus are slim enough that you can still use your, um, iTatu’d shuffle inside a more-protective case.–Derik DeLong
