Kerio Connect 7, an upgrade to Kerio Technologies’ alternative to Microsoft Exchange for SMBs, now fully supports the iPad.
Kerio Connect already offered cross-platform collaboration for Mac, Windows, and Linux computers, allowing clients in small-to-midsize businesses to synchronize e-mail, events, and contacts across computers and smartphones. That capability extends to the iPad in the latest version, allowing users to access their e-mail, add events to private calendars, search the global address book, manage invitations, and even perform a remove wipe of the device, all within the Kerio Connect system built on Microsoft Exchange technology.
Kerio Connect also plays well with the Mac, allowing iCal users to manage appointments and sync to-dos, and Mail users to toggle messages as spam in the Kerio Connect system with Mail’s “Mark as Junk/Not Junk” commands.
Kerio Connect starts at $450 for five users, with additional users costing $24 apiece.
