Our Verdict
A nicely padded and reinforced iPad sleeve.
The iPad Slip Case’s name succinctly describes this Waterfield Design case. It’s a $29 padded, waterproof-nylon sleeve with a soft interior and a flexible reinforcing panel on one side to protect your iPad’s screen. Available in black, blue, green, brown, red, and silver, the case is well constructed and sports a wide nylon loop at the bottom to help you remove your iPad—the interior fabric helps wipe off smudges as you do so. The fit is reasonably snug, but not so snug that the iPad won’t slip out if you turn the case upside down. It’s not the kind of case that you’ll likely carry about on its own, but it provides good protection for an iPod inside a bag, packpack, or briefcase.
