Orem, Utah-based Appigo has announced the release of Todo for iPad, the latest incarnation of its planning app for the iPhone OS platform.
Todo for iPad has been designed from the ground up to take full advantage of the device’s increased screen real-estate and computing power. It features a simple and intuitive interface based on a theme that is reminiscent of a paper binder—which, given the size of the iPad’s screen, seems a very appropriate metaphor.
According to a press release issued by the company, Appigo has spent considerable amounts of time ensuring that using Todo for iPad feels completely natural and familiar to anyone that has used a paper-based planner in the past.
This, however, doesn’t mean that the app’s capabilities are limited to what you can do with pen and paper: Todo supports syncing across a variety of different desktop-based organizers, including iCal and Microsoft Outlook; it also features push notifications for your reminders and allows you to create multiple projects and to-do lists to keep your compulsive multi-tasking habit in check.
Todo for iPad requires an iPad running iPhone OS 3.2 or higher, and can be purchased from Apple’s App Store for $5.
