Geez, it must be pile-on Apple day. Both Sony and Google have taken shots at Cupertino, but at least Apple managed to escape a crazy lawsuit and can rest assured in the knowledge that the iPad business is booming. Here are the remainders for May 20, 2010.
Apple selling more iPads than Macs
(All Things D)
RBC Capital Markets analyst Mike Abramsky says Apple is selling 200,000 iPads a week, which is even outpacing Mac sales. Apple laptop user has “vultures” lawsuit dismissed

HP developing a ‘Dick Tracy’ wristwatch
Hewlett Packard is developing a prototype wrist-mounted flexible display for military use. “We call it a Dick Tracy watch,” said HP’s director of information surfaces, Carl Taussig. Finally! A Dick Tracy watch! It’s only taken us 64 years to figure that sucker out.
Apple more arrogant, says Sony
Michael Ephraim, Sony Computer Entertainment Australia’s managing director, said Sony has lost any arrogance it might once have had, then added, “I think we can name a company that is a fruit that is in the news a lot about their arrogance…I think they have taken the mantle from us, if we were ever arrogant!” Really, Michael? Isn’t that the pot calling the kettle, um, arrogant?
Live from the Google I/O 2010 day 2 keynote
Why did Google create Android? According to Vic Gundotra, the company’s vice president of engineering, “If we did not act, we faced a draconian future. Where one man, one company, one carrier was the future.” Hold on, I’ve totally seen this movie trailer before…
