An anti-slip cover that’s protectively molded to the iPad while still allowing unobtrusive use of the device.
Incipio’s DermaShot Silicone Case is an anti-slip iPad “skin” that’s protectively molded to the iPad while still allowing unobtrusive use of the device.
The silicone case slips onto the back of your iPad, leaving the screen, orientation-lock switch, dock-connector port, and headphone jack exposed. The volume and Sleep/Wake buttons are protected by the case but can still be used by pressing tactile counterparts on the DermaShot.
Incipio’s “anti-static coating technology” makes the cover feel smooth to the touch while being a bit more durable than your typical skin. The DermaShot makes your iPad slightly easier to hold, but the lack of proper finger grips on the back doesn’t lend the cover to gaming.
The DermaShot ships with a clear, protective screen film and a cleaning cloth to help remove smudges and grease. While the film won’t protect the iPad’s screen from blunt trauma, it does helps prevent scratches.
While not as heavy-duty of a silicone case as Incipio’s 1337 model, the DermaShot nevertheless works as a solid, all-around cover.
